PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve portability by making compact this remote controller by enabling winding of a cable around the outer peripheral part of the controller body, when it is not in use. SOLUTION: This remote controller is constituted of a controller body 2 which is provided with a plurality of operation keys 7 and a cable leading part 8 formed on the side face and a cable 5 led out of the cable leading part 8, which is provided with a connector 6 to be connected to the equipment body formed on the top end part. Also, a cable holding part 9 for holding the wound state of the cable 5 wound around the outer peripheral face is integrally formed on at least one side face part of the controller body 2.
