PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile terminal with a printer function that can use a combination of a printer engine and a printer CNT(controller) not compatible with a video I/F(interface). SOLUTION: A system CNT 2 controlling the entire facsimile terminal receives a video signal from a printer CNT 1, a sampling means 22 converts the video signal into image data for facsimile communication, once stores the image data to an image memory 25, the image data are read therefrom, converted into the video signal, and the printer engine 3 receiving the video signal prints out the signal. Video I/F circuits 14, 21 between the printer CNT 1 and the system CNT 2 differ from video I/F circuits 28, 31 between the system CNT 2 and the printer engine 3, the system CNT 2 mutually converts signal groups different among the respective interfaces to conduct communication of the signals. |
