PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which can cope with all input units, output units and output objects and provide superior images after correction. SOLUTION: Characteristic information forming means 116 forms characteristic information (gradation characteristic data) of an input source 200 (digital camera) of an input image, characteristic information of the output object (silver salt positive film) and characteristic information of an output destination 300 (ink jet printer) after correcting process. A corrected information forming means 111 forms corrected information (image correction table) for image correcting process from information obtained by the characteristic information forming means 116. A correcting means 109 corrects an input image on the basis of corrected information obtained by the corrected information forming means 111.
