<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a customer, who buys a commodity or a service with a credit card or a debit card at a shop or the like having a parking lot, to get a discount on a parking fee based on the amount of the purchase price. SOLUTION: A parking lot entrance switching machine 30 reports the card information and the parking lot entry time of the customer at entry to a central data processing center 50 via a public network 40. A parking fee reckoning machine 20 reports the card information and the parking lot exit time at exit. The central data processing center 50 calculates the parking fee based on the parking period and the amount of the purchase price reported from a card authentication terminal 10 during the parking period, takes a liquidation procedure via a card business overall network system 60, and reports the parking fee to the parking fee reckoning machine 20.</p> |
