PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily mass-producing a liquid medium containing composite ultrafine particles comprising ultrafine particles of a nm order uniformly dispersed and bonded. SOLUTION: The method comprises a step wherein a dispersion medium is prepared by dispersing ultrafine particles of different materials in a liquid medium; a step wherein the dispersion medium is introduced, under a high pressure, into a first and second chambers each having an inlet port and an outlet port; a step wherein a high-frequency voltage is applied to the first and second chambers to excite the dispersion medium passing through these chambers and then a DC voltage is applied to the dispersion medium in both the chambers on the downstream side of the applying position of the high-frequency voltage to charge the dispersion medium so that the polarities of the medium in the chambers are different from each other; and a step wherein the dispersion medium charged in different polarities is jetted at a high speed through two nozzles electrically separated from each other so as to cross and collide with each other and thus ultrafine particles in the liquid medium are electrostatically agglomerated in the field of collision and are agglomerated and bonded by excitation transfer. |
