PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tatami mat straw cover which is formed of a front surface and a rear surface being different in physical properties. SOLUTION: The tatami mat straw cover is formed by weaving two or more types of rush such that the ratio of the types of reed exposed on a front side is different on a front side thereof from on a rear side.
