PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic useful for keeping the make-up beautiful by preventing shininess. SOLUTION: The cosmetic for preventing shininess is brought to contain 1) a semi-transparent powder comprising one or more species selected from an acrylic resin powder, a network methylsiloxane polymer a cross-linked methylpolysiloxane powder, a nylon powder and a silk power and 2) a silicone oil. The cosmetic is an oil-gel formulation.
