PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile terminal that can simply extract text data on a WEB page stored in a server unit provided to the Internet or the like and print out the data. SOLUTION: The facsimile terminal is provided with a means 11j to perform dialup connection to a public network, and/or a LAN connection means 11h that makes connection to a LAN, a WEB page control means 11b4 that uses an operation key in an operation display section 11f to designate a URL(Uniform Resource Locator) identifying the location of the WEB page in the server unit connected to a network such as the Internet and downloads data of the WEB page in the server unit to receive the data, a WEB page analysis means 11k that analyzes the downloaded data of the WEB page so as to extract only the text data part and a coding/decoding means 11g that converts the extracted text data part into facsimile information.
