PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for charging Internet facsimile communication that imposes charging on a user in the case of faxing information received by electronic mail so as to relieve the load on a party installing an Internet facsimile terminal and easily manage the charging. SOLUTION: In the case of transferring information attached to electronic mail received by the Internet facsimile terminal 4 through facsimile communication, a charging server 1 identifies a sender of the electronic mail and imposes charging on the identified sender.
