AUXILIARY DEVICE FOR INSERTING REFRACTORY MATERIAL DURING CLOSING OF BLAST FURNACE TAP HOLE

PURPOSE: An auxiliary device for inserting a refractory material during closing of a blast furnace tap hole is provided which fills the refractory material into the tap hole to a constant pressure more promptly and safely by injecting the refractory material to a certain pressure even when the tap hole is decentered. CONSTITUTION: In a tap hole closing device on the front part of which a nozzle tip is mounted to close a blast furnace tap hole, the auxiliary device for inserting a refractory material during closing of the blast furnace tap hole comprises a hollow type guiding device(50) which is attached to the nozzle tip in a cap shape; hook parts(60) which are formed on the edge part of the guiding device so that they are mounted on the rear of the nozzle tip; a guide plate(51) which can be led-in to the inside the nozzle starting from a part of the edge circumference of the guiding device; and a wedge(55) which is inserted into the guide plate(51) to control pressure distribution and mud filling angle.
