PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle processor capable of accurately figuring out the traveling direction of one's own vehicle. SOLUTION: While an ACC (accessory switch) is on, a picture image of a camera 50 is captured by and stored in a first memory at prescribed time intervals. When the ACC turns from an off state to an on state, a picture image of the camera 50 is stored in a second memory, and the picture images in the first and second memories are matched with each other. As a result of the matching, if the percentage of the matching does not satisfy a prescribed threshold, the vehicle is determined to have made a turn and the traveling direction is corrected by 180 degrees. Accordingly, even when the vehicle makes a turn with the ACC in an off state as on a turn table in a parking lot, the traveling direction of the vehicle can be accurately figured out. |
