PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifier which prevents drain water from dripping from a drain port of a drain pan and wetting a floor surface when a user removes a drain tank. SOLUTION: A lever 15 fixed to a movable arm 17 is provided below the drain port 7 of the drain pan 6 provided under an evaporator 2, and an elastic plug 16 is provided at the fore end part of the lever. When the user removes the drain tank 8, the arm 17 is moved upward by a restoring force of a spring 18 in linkage with the removal and the lever 15 moves upward consequently. Therefore the plug 16 at the fore end part closes up the drain port 7 to prevent dripping of the drain water. The same effect can be obtained also by providing a drain receiver having an internal volume necessary and sufficient for collecting the dripping drain water, in place of the plug 16. |
