PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a borosilicate formed body in which washout of boron in the borosilicate caused by the exposure to water vapor and decrease in the catalytic function as a result of the washout are suppressed in the chemical reaction which uses the borosilicate formed body as a catalyst or in the regeneration treatment of the catalyst. SOLUTION: When the borosilicate is to be formed, titania is used as a binder to form the body.
