摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a automatic aligning roller bearing device capable of drastically increasing a load capacity at a low cost by adopting an innovative idea. SOLUTION: On the outer peripheral surface of a barrel-like roller 13, an inner peripheral raceway surface of an outer ring 11 and an outer peripheral raceway surface of an inner ring 12 do not contact. Since the area 13a in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the barrel-like roller 13 adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction is formed, however, by bringing the areas 13a into contact with each other under the operating condition of a bearing device 10, the barrel-like rollers 13 adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction guide one another, whereby behaviors by the barrel-like roller 13 can be suppressed without employing a cage. Elimination of the need for the cage provides a low-cost structure. Since no pole for the cage is provided between the barrel-like rollers 13 adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction, in addition, expansion of a roller diameter or increase in the number of rollers can be achieved, which allows drastically increasing the load capacity of the bearing device 10.
