PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide carburetor mounting structure of a two-cycle internal combustion engine, which doesn't cause any problem even if the fuel passage provided in the lower section of a carburetor body is connected to a position near the injection port of an injection pipe. SOLUTION: An intake port 25c and air entrance 24 opening to a crank room 13a and an injection port 22 opening to a combustion chamber 4 are provided in the cylinder wall 3 of the engine, and the injection pipe 3 is provided to connect the air entrance 24 and the injection port 22 to each other. A rotary throttle valve 39 is inserted into a cylindrical valve chamber 35 fittedly, which intersects the intake passage 25 of a carburetor body 34 and the fuel passage 21 so as to be turnable and movable vertically. A needle 37 extending downward from the throttle valve 39 is inserted into a fuel supply pipe 20 fittedly, which extends from the combustion chamber 47 of the body 34 to the fuel passage 21. An intersection passage plate 64 and an heat insulation pipe 70 are interposed between the carburetor body 34 and the engine in this order, and a first passage 25a extending from an intake passage 25 to the intake port 25c straightly and a second passage extending from the fuel passage 21 to the first passage 25a making a detour are provided in the intersection plate 64.
