PURPOSE: A clutch operating system of a vehicle is provided to offer convenience to a driver, to stabilize the starting on an uphill road, and to restrain the wear of a clutch by automatically operating a clutch with the movement of a shift lever. CONSTITUTION: A clutch operating system of a vehicle comprises a lever cover having a guide groove for the operation of a shift lever, first lever position sensors(53) installed in the first speed range and the R(Reverse) range of the guide groove and to sense the movement of the shift lever and to make the semi-clutch state possible, second lever position sensors(59) installed in the second, third, fourth, and fifth ranges of the guide groove, a clutch position sensor(61) installed in a clutch to sense the on/off and semi-clutch states of the clutch, an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(63) for the generation of a clutch operating signal depending on the output signals of the sensors, and an actuator(65) for the operation of the clutch by the clutch operating signal of the ECU.
