摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas temperature reduction method for the internal combustion engine having supercharger and its device, capable of cooling the exhaust gas in the exhaust pipe immediately after the engine to reduce temperature in an exhaust pipe as a whole, and to increase the gas amount and gas motion quantity in the pipe. SOLUTION: The exhaust gas temperature reduction method for the internal combustion engine with supercharger, in which intake air is pressurized by operating the compressor 33 of the supercharger 35 by means of the exhaust gas energy of the internal combustion engine, and the pressurized intake air is cooled by an air cooler 41, to be supplied to the engine 21. A part of intake, air cooled by the air cooler 41, is supplied to bypass the upstream-most part 29a of the exhaust pipe 29. Exhaust gas temperature blowing in the exhaust pipe 29 is reduced by mixing the cooled intake air with the exhaust gas from the engine 21.</p>
