<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet transfer method that can transfer packets with priority without deteriorating the quality of data even on the occurrence of congestion in a network. SOLUTION: The network system is provided with a priority logic network and a non-priority logic network. Subscribers (1a-1f) register a policy as their selection to a server (4), can receive an additional service as measures on the occurrence of congestion, and registers the additional service to the server (4). When any of nodes (2a-2d, 3a-3d) detect the occurrence of congestion, the node informs the server (4) of the congestion information and the server revises the policy of the subscriber in response to the registered service. Furthermore, when the congestion is recovered, the server restores the revised policy to the originally registered policy. Through the configuration above, even on the occurrence of congestion, the server can transfer a data packet without deteriorating the quality of data.</p> |
