PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbine nozzle capable of suppressing creep deformation, without causing increase in the cost of materials or in the thickness of the nozzle. SOLUTION: In a steam turbine nozzle that is equipped with a diaphragm outer ring 1 and a diaphragm inner ring 2, an outer wheel patting board 3, disposed in the loop-shaped space formed between the diaphragm inner ring 2 and the diaphragm outer ring 1, and a nozzle ring 6 having an inner ring patting board 4 and a nozzle board 5; the material for the diaphragm outer ring 1 is made to have a smaller creep deformation speed than that of the material for the diaphragm inner ring 2.
