PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Internet facsimile communication unit employing an E-mail to FAX Gateway function that can transfer E-mail to a destination even when the E-mail includes an attached file that cannot be expanded. SOLUTION: The Internet facsimile communication unit discriminates whether or not the attached file having a file form can be expanded, aborts the attached file that cannot be expanded, and facsimile-transfers the received E-mail to the destination.
