PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool such as a boring bar capable of adjusting the positional relationship between a guide pad of an insert and a cutting blade of the insert with excellent accuracy, and excellent in cutting accuracy. SOLUTION: In the cutting tool 10 to form a drilled hole of a predetermined inside diameter by cutting a prepared hole formed in a work, a guide pad 50 which is slidably brought into contact with an inner wall surface of the drilled hole is provided on an outer circumferential surface of a substantially columnar tool body 20 rotated around the axis, a recess 29 opened toward an end face of a tool and an outer circumferential surface of the tool is formed in the outer circumference of a tip of the tool body 20, and a mounting seat is provided on a face of the recess 29 on a tip side of the tool is provided. An insert 60 having a cutting blade extending toward the outer side in the radial direction of the tool body 20 is attached to the mounting seat, a cutout part with the tool body 20 cut out is formed inside the mounting seat in the radial direction of the tool, and an adjustment wedge 70 to adjust the position of the insert 60 by pressing a face directed to the inside of the radial direction of the tool of the insert 60 is inserted in the cutout part.
