PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network print service by which a requesting user efficiently recovers a printed matter without waiting time. SOLUTION: When receiving a print job, a printer spools the print job, issues a reservation ID with which the print job can be identified within the spool and returns it to the requesting user. The user inputs the reservation ID on the printer and makes the print job executed. The printer notifies the predicted time of print execution, notifies the arrival of a print execution order, tells the requesting user of the recovery time of the printed matter and eliminates the possibility of going to the installed place of the printer in vain. |
