PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and easily form both left and right sides of a battery package without forming parallel folds on a side seal part of the battery. SOLUTION: A forming apparatus for an outer shape dimension of a battery is provided with a forming base 32 where battery 18 having an approximately rectangular battery package 11 of a soft material is horizontally loaded and is positioned by stoppers 34, 35, and a slider 36 having a both side-face forming roller 39 that slide-drives to the forming base 32 and forms both sides of the battery package 11 in parallel. |
