<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a power source by which stoppage of AC feeding from a battery to an information processor of higher priority is prevented preferentially when the residual battery capacity is small at power failure. SOLUTION: Battery capacities are assigned to a plurality of information processors, in advance, and the battery capacity assigned to each information processor and power consumption is managed at power failure so that the residual battery capacity of each device can be grasped. Then, a backup time and a shut-down instruction are separately operated, and the battery capacities are automatically assigned to each of the information processors even in a state other than the fully charged state so that the backup and the shutdown can be performed.</p> |
