PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a control system capable of reducing labor and time for installation even at the time of displaying a control program from a remote place. SOLUTION: A public server part 45 of a PLC 3 transmits an XML file corresponding to its own control program and an applet for allowing a client device 6 (6a) to display a control program as a ladder diagram in a format for the PLC 3 to the client device 6 (6a). The client device 6 (6a) for executing the applet obtains the state of a device 21 displayed at the ladder diagram from the public server part 45 while referring to the XML file, and displays the control program as the ladder diagram on its own screen. Also, when the ladder diagram is edited on the client device 6 (6a), the edited result is transmitted to the public server part 45, and an update processing part 47 of the PLC 3 updates the control program in a control program memory 33.
