PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-sensitivity radiation detector. SOLUTION: The radiation detector includes a plurality of phosphors 6 for converting radioactive rays into light, a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements 2 for converting the light converted by each phosphor 6 into electrical signals, and a light-reflecting layer 7, formed to at least a side face of each phosphor 6. Each of the light-reflecting layers 7 is resin, which contains a reflecting material for reflecting the light converted by the phosphor 6.
