摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for start up of fusion plant which utilizes fusion reaction of deuterium and tritium, and for obtaining fuel having optimum mixture ratio of deuterium and tritium to produce tritium, only by the facility and the capability which the fusion plant has, from a state with lack of or having no tritium at the startup and obtain a rated power. SOLUTION: At the startup of a fusion plant utilizing fusion reaction of deuterium and tritium, a plasma with excess deuterium or lacking tritium is burned to obtain tritium by the reaction of deuterium atoms, while by utilizing neutrons generated in the reaction of deuterium atoms and between deuterium and tritium, tritium bred in a blanket including lithium and the tritium, is returned to the plasma. By repeating this process, optimum tritium concentration can be obtained ultimately.
