PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair remover composition having high depilatory effect even under relatively low pH conditions, suppressed in sliminess when rinsed, thus improved in rinsability. SOLUTION: This hair remover composition comprises a keratin-reducing compound and thiourea. The other version of this composition comprises the keratin-reducing compound, urea and/or thiourea and water-insoluble particles.
