PURPOSE: To provide a revolution type actuator which can be used as a drive source such as an industrial machine and a public welfare machine applying eccentric revolution motion and can cope with high resolution. CONSTITUTION: The resolution type actuator has a movable member 1 capable of parallel translation in a prescribed revolution radius, a permanent magnet 2 for generating a magnetic field in the axial direction, energization faces 3a, 3b for generating electro-magnetic force on the movable member 1, an eccentric shaft 4 for performing the self-revolution prevention of the movable member 1 and being revolved at the prescribed radius, and stators (iron core) 5a, 5b surrounding the whole by a magnetic material so that a magnetic flux generated from the permanent magnet 2 is not leaked to the outside. Since the revolution shaft and the magnetic flux related to the generation of the electro-magnetic force are parallel, the gap fluctuation between the movable part and the fixed part does not exist principally, and it can cope with high revolution because a gap length can e designed sufficiently small in a practically the most advantageous range. |
