PURPOSE: A simulator for an electronic controller with feedback function is provided to describe and observe the operation features of a vehicle by using the data derived from the real vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A signal input unit(10) receives a control signal from the electronic controller and converts the control signal into the data which can be processed by a main controller(20). The main controller processes the input signal sent from the signal input unit and outputs the specified control signal to each unit. A storage(30) temporarily stores a variety of the data, such as the input or control signal. A program unit(40) stores all sequences of the test operation that control the operation of each unit through the control signal, which is generated by the main controller. A signal output unit(50) sends the data of the storage to the electronic controller for the test. A communication unit(60) monitors the test state of the electronic controller through an external computer(70), and describes and observes the vehicle state controlled by the electronic controller. A variety of I/O(Input and Output) signal and sensor signal derived from the vehicle according to the operation condition are stored to the external computer in a table or a specified type.
