PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents information registering method allowing a user to easily and quickly register desired information in a server. SOLUTION: Identification information for identifying the user is distributed to the user together with a prescribed application program. The user makes access to the information registering server 1 by using an information registering terminal 2, and transmits the distributed identification information to the information registering server 1. The information registering server 1 checks up the received identification information with prestored identification information, assigns a preclassified storage area as a directory for the user based on the transmitted identification information, and informs the information registering terminal 2 of address information corresponding to the directory. The user transmits contents information to the information registering server 1 together with the address information informed from the information registering terminal 2, and registers the desired contents information in the storage area of the information registering server 1.
