PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a redispersibility improver capable of improving the redispersibility of a preparation, such as a water-dispersible powder, a granular water-dispersible powder, and an aqueous suspension, without having any effect on biological effectiveness. SOLUTION: This redispersibility improver for a solid dispersion-based preparation contains an inorganic thickener and one, two or more kinds of multivalent metal salts, wherein the inorganic thickener comprises a purified product of clay mineral, such as attapulgite and montmorillonite, and the multivalent metal salt is selected from a group comprising sulfates, carbonates, chlorides, and organic acid salts of Mg, Al, Ca, Fe, Cu, Zn, etc. The method for improving the redispersibility is given by using the improver. The solid dispersion-based preparation contains the improver.
