PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a reproduced signal waveform at error occurrence under high-speed transmission and an interface signal waveform with an external processing apparatus to store and analyze, by enhancing a reproduced signal storage function of a magnetic disk device and an interface signal storage function. SOLUTION: An error storage means 26 and the interface signal waveform AD conversion storage means 102, 103, 104 installed in the magnetic disk device permit the reproduced signal or the interface signal at error occurrence to be readily measured. Thereby, the waveform free from a measurement error occurred by the system-of-measurement noise can be observed, while these signals are high-speed and week, and the operation analysis and the failure analysis of the device including the interface signal can be achieved.
