PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle sensor, in which the state of mounting a packing member on a housing is stabilized and the packing member will not fall off from the housing. SOLUTION: In this on-vehicle sensor, the packing member 12 provided with a thick annular part 12a and a thin part 12b which connects the insides of the annular part 12a to each other and has a thickness smaller than that thereof is mounted on the front wall 1d of the housing 1. Since the annular part 12a is supported by the thin part 12b, the packing member scarcely causes deformation of its external shape or displacement and is stabilized in its mounted state, thus obtaining a sensor on which the packing member 12 is mounted surely.
