PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for culturing a sprout, by which the sprout containing germanium accumulated in a practically sufficient concentration can be cultured. SOLUTION: This method for culturing the sprout comprises spraying a culture solution containing a germanium ingredient on the seeds of the sprout and simultaneously germinating and growing the seeds. Thereby, the sprout containing the germanium ingredient or a germanium-bound amino acid as a food component in increased kinds and amounts can simply be obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
