PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulley and its plating method for reducing the number of parts left without being plated. SOLUTION: This pulley 11 is provided with a bottomed cylindrical shaft part 12, a flange part 13 being continuous with an opening end of the shaft part and extending in the direction of outside diameter, and a cylindrical belt stretching part 14 being continuous with an outer peripheral fringe part of the flange part and opened in the same direction as the shaft part integrally. A through hole 22 for reducing weight is formed in an end part on an outer side in the radial direction of the flange part. A chamfered part 23 is formed in a corner part formed by the flange part and the belt stretching part so that the through hole is arranged in a top part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
