The invention concerns a folding bicycle comprising a frame (1) including a front part (2) whereon is mounted pivoting a steering rod (12) having a lower end provided with a first wheel (13) and an upper end provided with a handlebar (14), a rear part (4) whereon is mounted a second wheel (26), and a central part (3) whereon are mounted a saddle (6) and a crankset (5) connected to the rear wheel (26) by transmission means (27), such that the saddle, the crankset, the steering rod, the front wheel and the rear wheel are substantially contained in a common plane (P) when the bicycle is unfolded, the frame including means (18, 25) articulating the front part and the rear part to the central part to reduce the bicycle wheelbase associated with means (18, 25) for maintaining at least the front wheel and the rear wheel in said plane (P). |
