<p>A tape cassette comprising a front lid (5) on the front side of a cassette housing (1), and a shutter plate (6) interlocked with an operation for opening the front lid (5) and retracting a mouth to slide back and forth on the upper surface of the cassette housing (1) wherein the side of the shutter plate (6) opposite to the front lid (5) and the side of the cassette housing abutting against that side are curved and the upward motion passage of the shutter is snaked so that a rectangular indication label (8) is not contained in the moving passage of the shutter plate (6), i.e. on the upper surface of the cassette housing (1).</p> |
