The frame consists of an at least roughly C-shaped hollow strip (26) with an upper band (28), a lower band (30) and two reinforcing plates (e.g. 32) spaced out from each other, closing off the hollow strip and welded to it. The upper band has a greater wall thickness than the lower band. The two plates are parallel to each other.
