APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR COOLING PRODUCT OF ROTARY KILN

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for cooling a product of rotary kiln is provided which maximizes cooling efficiency through dispersion control cooling in the process of cooling the product after completing calcination of the rotary kiln that is a calcium oxide manufacturing facility. CONSTITUTION: The method for cooling a product of rotary kiln comprises the steps of storing the first cooled calcium oxide into a temporary storage hopper by first cooling calcium oxide when calcium oxide is discharged after the rotary kiln is operated(S1- S3); storing the separately discharged calcium oxide into each product cooling hoppers by measuring temperature of the stored calcium oxide and separately discharging calcium oxide per concerned temperature distributions(S4,S5); judging whether the measured temperature is 50 deg.C or less by measuring product cooling temperatures of calcium oxide stored in the product cooling hoppers(S6); and completing discharging of calcium oxide after cooling the product again by controlling flow rate of cooling air if the judging results satisfy conditions, and feedbacking calcium oxide so that cooling temperature of the product is measured again if the judging results do not satisfy the conditions(S7).
