PURPOSE: An airbag cover assembly is provided to simply conduct a detaching or attaching operation and to enhance the efficiency of assembling and operation by allowing a back plate and a reinforcing plate to be fitted into an outer cover in combination and assembled thereto. CONSTITUTION: An airbag cover assembly comprises an outer cover(5), a back plate and a reinforcing plate. The outer cover(5) has a plurality of ribs(2) and a hook(4). The outer cover(5) is sized to such an extent that the plurality of ribs(2) are resiliently fitted thereinto. The back plate has a mounting hole formed therein through which the hook(4) can pass. The reinforcing plate has a plurality of resilient supports formed therein. These resilient supports are projectingly formed at regular intervals from the reinforcing plate, and has mounting holes sized to such an extent that each rib(2) can pass therethrough. The airbag cover assembly is assembled in such a way that the outer cover(5) is resiliently fitted with the back plate(5), and then the back plate(5) is surrounded by the reinforcing plate from the above. |
