PURPOSE: A stopper for a steering system of a vehicle is provided to improve freedom of design, and to reduce assembling process by integrally forming a contact sill in a joint bracket and mounting in a lower arm. CONSTITUTION: A steering shaft of a knuckle is formed with mounting a ball joint assembly having a joint bracket and a ball joint body in a lower arm, and a stopper bolt is mounted at the side of the knuckle to restrict the maximum steering angle of the steering shaft. A stopper bracket is installed at the side of the lower arm by interfering with the stopper bolt at the maximum steering of the knuckle. A contact sill(22) is integrally formed in a joint bracket(20), and contacted to the stopper bolt at the maximum steering. The shape of the contact sill is decided according to the stopper bolt, and an inclined surface is contacted to the inclined face of the stopper bolt. The freedom of design is improved, and assembling process is reduced.
