A child communication device to which control is transferred from a parent communication device communicates with a calling telephone set through a host station in response to the calling of the calling telephone set. A host station (3) has a parent communication device (1) given a specific parent ID for using a radio telephone line provided by the host station (3) and one or more child communication devices (2) for communication through the radio telephone line of the parent communication device (1) after transfer of control from the parent communication station (1) to the child communication devices. Each child communication device (2) has storage means where the parent ID and the child IDs recognizable by the parent communication device (1), radio communication means for communication through the host station (3) by means of the radio telephone line, pager signal receiving means for receiving a pager signal of a radio paging system, and control means for controlling the radio communication means according to the predetermined pager signal received by the pager signal receiving means.
