The invention concerns a fast coupler for a fluid circuit comprising a male part (7) and a female part (1), the female part (1) having a staged counterboring whereof the cross-section (13) of larger diameter can receive an outer flange (14) of the male part (7), beyond a mobile lock (15) in a housing (15a) transverse to said counterboring, and comprising a connection indicating device (40) locked on the female part (1) by means partly housed in the housing (15a) and deactivated by the flange (14) of the male part when it is inserted in the counterboring (13), wherein the indicator device (40) comprises means for permanent connection to the closed fluid circuit by the coupler (1, 7):
