A method of restoring hair, comprising the steps of binding a plurality of hairs (5) for hair restoration at a specified position, forming a ring part of an artificial hair material (2) formed of trunk hairs (2a) having the ring part (3) for inserting original hairs therein formed at one end thereof by double folding one to two pieces of the trunk hairs (2a), forming a bound ba ll (4) at the position of the trunk hairs (2a) opposite to the ring part (3) in proximity to the binding position of the hairs (5) for hair restoration, inserting the original hairs into the ring part (3) formed at the trunk hair s (2a), and binding the original hairs near the hair-roots thereof.
