<p>A data recording method, a data recorder, and a recording medium for re-creating a management file for managing time-series data even if the management file comes to be involved with a problem. The data recorder comprises a first means for creating a first management file used for managing time-series data at predetermined time intervals and recording it on a recording medium sequentially, a second means for creating a second management file containing data on the position and size of the area of the recording medium where all the first management files are recorded and recording the second management file on the recording medium, a third means for creating a third management file for managing all the time-series data and recording the third management file on the recording medium, and a fourth means for re-creating the third management file from the second management file if the third management file is not present or cannot be read.</p> |
