<p>A device and a method for treatment of polluted air capable of efficiently performing deodorization, humidification, drying, and removal of harmful substances even if the air is humid and polluted without making a treating process complicate and with a reduced construction cost, operation control cost, and administrative and maintenance cost; the device, comprising a layer formed of an activated charcoal carrying nonwoven fabric sheet and a layer formed of the zeolite obtained by microwave irradiation disposed on the downstream side thereof, desirably, the device, comprising a plurality layers of activated charcoal and photocatalyst carrying nonwoven fabric sheets and low voltage mercury lamps disposed therebetween, and the device further comprising a heating means disposed on the upstream side of the zeolite layer and on the downstream side of the nonwoven fabric sheet layer; the method, comprising the step of treating the polluted air by using the devices.</p> |
