A steel sheet for disk brake with improved anti-warp property has a chemical composition comprising, in mass percent, 0.05-0.15% of C, not more than 1.0% of Si, not more than 2.0% of Mn, not more than 1.0% of Ni, 9.0-15.0% of Cr, 0.5-4.0% of Cu, 0.10-2.0% of Mo, not more than 0.10% of N, 0.05-1.0% of Nb, and the balance of Fe and unavoidable impurities and having a gammamax value defined by: <paragraph lvl="0"><in-line-formula>gammamax=420C+470N+23Ni+7Mn+9Cu-11.5Cr-11.5Si-12Mo-3.5Nb+189 </in-line-formula>of not greater than 80.
