OPTICAL SPECTROMETER AND OPTICAL DETECTION METHOD USING ACOUSTIC WAVE

PURPOSE: An optical spectrometer and optical detection method is provided to reduce cost and simplify the configuration of optical spectrometer by reducing the number of optical elements. CONSTITUTION: An optical spectrometer comprises an acoustic wave generating unit for generating wavelength of a specific frequency; an acoustic transducer unit(21) for applying the acoustic wave generated from the acoustic wave generating unit to an optical fiber; and an optical detection unit(23) for detecting the light emitted through the optical fiber by the acoustic wave applied to the optical fiber by the acoustic transducer unit. An optical detection method comprises a first step of generating wavelength of a specific frequency; a second step of applying the acoustic wave generated in the first step to an optical fiber; and a third step of detecting the light emitted through the optical fiber by the acoustic wave applied in the second step.
