The storage tank (1) for inflammable liquids has an inner container (2) of a plastics material, and an outer container (13) of metal sheet. The base is a one-piece plastics pallet frame (18). The pallet frame has a square or rectangular shape with a base (20), with upper hollow support ribs (22) at the center (21) between the longitudinal sides and parallel to the lateral sides of the pallet. It has four hollow corner supports (28) and two hollow center supports (31) at the lateral sides, to carry the outer container and its inserted inner container.
